4lb Club Hammer 16" Fibreglass Handle

Club Hammer with a Polypropylene coated Fibreglass core. Polypropylene acts as a shock absorber which protects not only the shaft but the user's hands from shock of overstrike.

Our range of Hammers are made with drop forged heads, hardened and tempered for safe and regular use.

Our Fibreglass handles and our head to handle bonding exceed the requirements of BS 876 (Hammers)

The yellow outer sleeve performs two important functions.

  • It protects the inner fibreglass rod in overstrike situations, and absorbs shock through the millions of tiny air pockets built into the "Rigid Foam" structure. 
  • This tool can be expected to far outlast its Hickory counterpart, as it is not affected by environmental conditions such as moisture and hot/dry areas
